Payments received, in detail.

01

Part and advance payments

Record part payments, or one payment across several invoices, oldest first. Advances and overpayments are held as client credit.

02

TDS and other deductions

When a client pays ₹90,000 and holds back ₹10,000 as TDS, the invoice still shows Paid. Deductions appear in your reports.

03

Post-dated cheques

Record a cheque with its date. The invoice shows Cheque held until it clears, and you get a reminder before each deposit date.

04

Promises and disputes

Record a promised date and reminders pause until then. A disputed invoice stops reminders until it is resolved.

05

Foreign currency

If $1,000 arrives as $985 after bank charges, the $15 is recorded as a charge. The invoice is not left with a small unpaid balance.
